Speed & Glass Boats

See the Caribbean from the water without getting wet — or race across it at speed. Our glass-bottom and speedboat tours offer two ways to explore: drift over the reef watching marine life through a transparent hull, or open up the throttle for a fast ride along the coast. Great for families, non-swimmers and anyone who wants the beauty of the reef with a dry seat. Guides and safety gear included.

FAQ

Both put you at the wheel, but the emphasis flips. The jungle tour is a convoy through mangrove channels that ends at a snorkel stop, so most of the time you're going slow. A speed boat run is about open water and throttle — longer straight stretches, more time at speed, and less structured stopping. If you came for the snorkel, take the jungle tour; if you came to drive, take this.

Yes. The standard setup is two seats with one adult driving, and the driver has to meet the operator's minimum age and sign the equipment release. Some boats allow a third small passenger and some don't, so confirm on the tour page. Only one person drives at a time, but you can swap at any stop the guide calls.

Assume everything gets wet. Waterproof phone case, reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses with a strap, and a change of clothes in the car. Skip the hat unless it ties down — it will end up in the lagoon. Cameras go in a dry bag or stay behind, and the operator is not responsible for anything that goes over the side.
