At CancunATVs, we understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to our guests while accounting for the fact that our tour spots are a perishable inventory. We strongly recommend all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance.

All cancellation and rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing via email to: info@cancunatvs.com. The timestamp of the received email will determine eligibility.

1. Customer-Initiated Cancellations

  • Cancellations with more than 48 hours notice are eligible for a full refund, minus a 20% administrative fee to cover credit card processing and administrative costs.[2]
  • Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled tour time are not eligible for a cash refund. Instead, a tour credit for the full value of the booking will be issued, valid for one year from the original tour date.[6]
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will result in the forfeiture of the full purchase amount, with no refund or credit issued.[7, 8]

2. Rescheduling Policy

We permit date changes free of charge if the request is received via email at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled tour time. All rescheduling is subject to tour availability.[1, 2]

3. "No-Show" and Late Arrival Policy

A "No-Show" is defined as a Participant who does not arrive at the designated meeting point by the scheduled tour time. A "Late Arrival" is a Participant who arrives after the tour has departed. No refunds or credits will be issued for No-Shows or Late Arrivals under any circumstances.[1, 7, 2]

4. Promotional Bookings

Any reservation made using a promotional code, special discount, or as part of a sale is considered final. These bookings are 100% non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled or converted to credit.[9]

5. Company-Initiated Cancellations (Weather & Force Majeure)

The Company may, at its sole discretion, cancel a tour due to extreme weather conditions (e.g., hurricanes, tropical storms), port closures, or any other event of force majeure that could compromise the safety of our participants and staff. In such cases, you will be offered the choice of: a) Rescheduling your tour for another available date at no additional cost; OR b) Receiving a 100% full refund.[3, 5]

Please note that our tours operate rain or shine under normal weather conditions. Rain is common in the tropics and does not typically constitute a reason for cancellation . The decision to cancel a tour due to weather rests exclusively with The Company's management.
